February 20th, 2018
On February 18th, 2018 the scouts volunteered at the Tet Festival at the OC Fair and Event Center. There the scouts volunteered as actors and held their own booth that made survival bracelets and photos. The festival was bustling with people and in the morning they held a traditional procession for the emperor. Some scouts volunteered to be the peasants and soldiers that made up the majority of the procession. Later in the day, the scouts performed their dance on the village stage and ended their performance to applause from the audience and fellow scouts. The festival continued with several other performances and an eating contest at night. The festival was filled with booths and that gave free items or sold something. In addition, there were games and carnival rides at the back of the festival.
